Environmental road mapping for sustainable freight - workshop |

The workshop will investigate and prioritise environmental issues for multi-modal sustainable freight movement in the UK and establish “what is next”. The output of the workshop will be used to develop a long-term vision and adaptive Transport KTN action plan for transport sustainability and policy.
It will also review the scoping outputs from informed logistics intervention, including:
•Investigate and prioritise environmental issues for multi-modal sustainable freight;
•To think of “The Journey”, moving people and goods;
•To think about the next steps in the reduction of packaging materials used when moving goods;
•To discuss the challenges/barriers to a successful environmentally sustainable multi-modal journey; and
•To build upon these and establish “what is next” with input to transport roadmap
