The ITS KTN aims to run a series of workshops around specific themes to understand the issues involved and to develop the research and development agenda. In some cases these workshops have contributed to the creation of specific projects. Current workshop series include:

• Sustainable freight
• Transport modelling and Grid computing

• Location technology capabilities for ITS
• Digital Communications technologies for ITS
