One of the key themes that has emerged from the Transport Modelling and Grid Computing workshop series has been the importance and value of transport data, both from the road network and from transport models. Although considerable work is going on within the Highways Agency, in research institutions and in ITS organisations there seems to be a lack of awareness of what resources are available from different sectors of the community.

This page is therefore a resource for KTN members pulling together some of the the different resources available for communication, research use and potential exploitation of data sources. Some key information on the services provided by the Highways Agency is presented.
