Foresight Vehicle
Foresight Vehicle, now administered by SMMT, is the UK's prime knowledge transfer network for the automotive industry. Foresight Vehicle will contribute existing knowledge bases to the ITS KTN. This R&D programme aims to promote technology and stimulate suppliers to develop market driven enabling technologies for future motor vehicles.

ITS-UK
ITS UNITED KINGDOM, the UK association for the promotion of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), is a not-for-profit public/private sector association financed by members' subscriptions, and provides a forum for all organisations concerned with ITS.
We work to bring the benefits that ITS can offer in terms of economic efficiency, transport safety, and environmental benefits to the United Kingdom - and at the same time expand the ITS market. The membership, of around 150 UK organisations, comprises Government Departments, Local Authorities, Police Forces, consultants, manufacturing and service companies, and academic and research institutions.

Its innovative structure accesses the highest quality academic skills and staff, whilst ensuring that research is industrially relevant, yields valuable intellectual property, and provides a very high financial gearing.

Location and Timing KTN
The UK's strength in systems integration means we can lead the market for location applications but only if traditional British industries are encouraged to apply them to their process. Today, without proper assistance, good UK ideas are exploited elsewhere. By encouraging the application of location based services across the UK, the Location and Timing KTN will create a world class network of suppliers, investors, users and policy makers that dictates the pace of this new and exciting sector.
