4th March 2010
All current members of this site ought to receive an email today to give them a brief notification of changes afoot.

. These include the migration of all Knowledge Transfer Networks, including the Intelligent Transport Network, to a new site called _connect, provided through the Technology Strategy Board.

There are a number of benefits to this new way of working, which are outlined in this document.

All KTNs will be online at the new _connect platform by the end of March 2010. Why not register now, and perhaps sign up to some of the other KTNs in advance of the ITS KTN moving at the end of the month?

ITS KTN to move to new platform
18th Feb 2010
As you may be aware, this, the ITS Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN), is one of a number of similar, related networks. This 'network of networks’ is part of the Technology Strategy Board’s portfolio of programmes to drive innovation in the UK. Innovation often happens on the periphery of such groups where they - excitingly, and often quite randomly - overlap with others.

At present, as we use many different internet sites for the groups, which makes it difficult for members to easily be members of multiple networks and get these "Eureka" moments.

Accordingly, we, along with our colleagues across the other KTNs, have been working hard with the Technology Strategy Board to create a new home for all the networks, so that it is easy for our members to connect with other people and groups.

The new site is scheduled to go live at the end of March 2010. We will be in touch with all our members with more information on how this will affect you, and will post regular updates here, so keep checking back.

If you have any questions, comments or feedback, please get in touch with the new ITS KTN Knowledge Manager, Tessa Darley
