Invite your colleagues
1:53 PM on Monday 21 July 2008

One of the new features our new KTN site allows is the ability for our members to invite their colleagues and business contacts to join the KTN. We would like to encourge you to do this to, not only to help us build the effectiveness of the KTN, but also to potentially support you in your work and in building your own network.

Why not...

  1. Invite colleagues from your organisation
If you are working for a large organisation you might want to invite your colleagues from different areas but with a common interest in ITS. You can create a private group where you can "meet" and discuss ITS interests and issues
  2. Invite your peers from other organisations
Why not build an informal network of peers from other similar organisations? There are often people with similar issues to you working somewhere else. Who knows they might even have the solution to your particular problem. Local Authoritity traffic management teams or Academic researchers are just a couple of examples.
  3. Invite people who could benefit from the KTN
Like what you see here? Perhaps someone else you know would find the workshops, resources and contacts valuable.

Those are just a few suggestions, I am sure you can think of some more.

To send invitations please go to the invite page or follow the "Invite" link in the menu above and enter the emaill addresses of your colleagues. You can add your own personal message to the invitation email which reads...
