The Intelligent Transport Systems and Digital Communications KTNs have joined forces to organise a workshop to facilitate knowledge transfer tbetween their respective communities. The aim of the workshop is to explore Digital Communications technologies in the context of emerging ITS applications.

The next transport modelling and grid computing workshop will be held in London on the 7th July. The wookshop will address challenges raised in the previous meetings and the theme will be data management for ITS in front-line environments.

innovITS is launching a new programme that will develop an architecture for cooperative ITS systems. The facITS programme will be formed of a core project with an industry focussed consortium and a series of workshops supporting the project development run by the Intelligent transprot Systems KTN.
